On the WSJ blog an author of a book on hunting named Pete Bodo has a thoroughly reasonable defense of all the weirdo issues being brought up regarding the hunting episode, She's a Great Shot, in TLC's Sara Palin's Alaska series.
I thought the episode's intimacy, quietness, good humor, camaraderie, humanity and humility were all off the charts on my endearing meter. It clearly wasn't the hunt Sara expected or wished for but she handled it with grace. And her affection for her father was lovely. If you missed this one be sure to check it out.
